187. Kelly McCullough, Broken Blade. Ace, 2011.

An entertaining and undemanding adventure starring a former assassin for the now-dead goddess of justice. I will be acquiring the sequels.

Still sick. Today I cannot speak louder than a whisper. I've been bored and unable to concentrate for days now: can I please be well soon? Please?

Still sick. I believe I've noticed improvement - I have appetite - but I so want to be well already.

188. Brian Henry, Dublin Hanged: Crime, Law Enforcement, and Punishment in Late Eighteenth-Century Dublin. Irish Academic Press, Dublin, 1994.

An interesting overview of crime and law enforcement in Dublin city between 1780 and 1797. Henry could've managed his comparative numbers a bit better, but it's a useful introduction - particularly since actual court records were destroyed during the 1922 Civil War, and Henry is working from newspaper information and other records.
