Stuff
Tonight I have a sniffle and sneezes and tenderness of the back-of-throat, and am womanfully hoping it doesn't develop into full-blown Autumn Cold. Which would be a damn shame, considering that the week's gone so well so far, and I'm still doing mental cartwheels of delight at my new workspace.
I did want to watch the second episode of Elementary tonight, but alas it was not to be: my laptop refuses to play with any good grace non-.avi video files, and I've given up trying in this case. But I watched two lovely episodes of Leverage which had nearly no Nate, and that made me happy. (Parker! Parker is magnifique.)
Concentration on fiction is presently out of the question: my brain's still not up for more challenging stories than the 45-minute television episode. On the other hand, I've been making progress through my giant standby nonfiction, a new history of the Thirty Years War (850 pages before notes), which I've been plugging away at since early this year. I hope to report completion by the end of the month.
*sneezes pathetically*
Going to lie down now and hope for health.
