hawkwing_lbSo, due to an inability to concentrate on... well, anything useful today (stupid cramps. I hates them), I started reading The Secret History of Georgian London: How the Wages of Sin Shaped the Capital, by Dan Cruickshank.
One hundred and sixty pages in (it's about six hundred pages long), and it's fascinating. Cruickshank can write.
Which is eminently necessary in a tome of this size.
