Exams: tomorrow I'll be free
Jun. 3rd, 2008 06:09 pmWell, I think this morning's paper went okay. I got to talk about Anemospilia (o hai, possible human sacrifice in my flower-loving Minoans) and peak sanctuaries, and the Ulu Burun and Cape Gelidonya wrecks, so I might even have done reasonably well.
*cautiously optimistic*
Sunshine, still. Met the parent off the train and went for a dip in the sea - not enough water for proper swimming, since the tide was on the retreat, but enough to get wet and splash about a bit - so that was pleasant.
Tomorrow, Greek Archaeology. If I was actually awake, I'd crack a book right now and try to do some study. Instead, I may just have some chocolate fudge cake and ice cream (exams, they give me cravings for sugar, caffeine, and starch), and read a novel for an hour before going to sleep.
Sleep. I wants it.
I need to pack my gym bag and bring it tomorrow, though, so I can head to the gym and purge my poisons. Thursday (when I'm free!) I stay home to finish the reshelving project (which essentially means figuring out which bits of paper in these boxes have actually relevence, which ones I can recycle, and which ones I should burn), and Friday, go to gym, bouldering, and start on the Pyrgos reading list.
Well, it's a working plan, anyway.
Oh. In just about two weeks, I go to the Asgard II. A week on board, then two weeks back home, and I leave for Crete.
...It's getting kind of close.
