I have been to see the film Whip It. It is good. Even truly excellent: I had no idea what roller derby was, but if that's it? Then I think it must be brilliant. I approve of multiple strong relationships between multiple strong female characters. And humour and music and contact sport violence.

It wasn't quite brilliant enough to kick me out of this suicidal rage thing I have going, but hey. Those're the breaks. So I guess I'm going to sit here and watch Castle for a bit, and try to get my head back in the game.
