Dear friendly internets, today I set out to do research in a warm country. I'm looking forward to it, even if I doubt I'll get quite as much done as I'm hoping for.

Like the title says. Nothing exciting has happened yet.

Athens is warm but not, tonight, killingly hot. I'm surprised.
