Things I have to do this week (preferably tomorrow)

1. Write an application for a travel bursary.

2. Make my thesis outline make sense. (If I divide it into chapters, I can plan to write discrete chunks, say one every two point five months.)

3. Plan my research strategy more coherently.

4. Meet the nice professor who has offered to give me pointers towards anthropological approaches.

5. Organise papers and language-learning materials.

6. Find helpful, knowledgeable persons to read and comment on my bursary app and my outline plan.

7. Various other work- and homework-y things.
