I've just had to walk into town during my lunch-hour and trawl the charity shops for a new bag, the straps having come off the old one, possibly because I always have to have a minimum of three books in my bag. (Which is not excessive. You might finish one, and if one of the spares proves tedious there would be a real danger of having nothing to read...)
