It does not seem right that I should be stressed. Have I not everything I could desire? (Except for an ability to sleep at a normal hour, that is.)

Given the current state of universities and the pressures students are put under simply to survive, you ahve every right to be stressed. Take care.

Thank you. I am hiding from everything right now, but hopefully soon I will be able to face apologising for missing classes, a Greek test... etc.

I shouldn't complain, especially since it's my own fault.

What're they doing making you take classes and Greek tests at your level, anyway? Is your Phud a partially taught class, rather than a pure research one?

I was lucky - mine was completely research based, so I just swanned around museums drawing copious numbers of bronze objects...

The Greek is voluntarily complusive, or compulsarily voluntary. If I ever want a job in a connected area, I need the ancient Greek: the modern Greek, I need to swan around Greece looking at dusty old walls...
