Dublin. Hate the damn city. Dust and fumes and such always make me cough. Did something... downright odd to a muscle in my leg at karate last night, so I was limping and coughing, and trying to find a dress that fits me and doesn't make me look like an eejit. I hate dresses. Most unfunctional item of apparel ever invented. I have to go to a formal affair, and what I want to know is, why can't women go in tuxes, too?
Bah. Enough moaning. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at the number of second-hand SF/fantasy books in Chapters. They were overpriced, but I found Timothy Zahn's Cascade Point novella in with one of Greg Bears. And bought the one and only novel by Joel Rosenberg I have ever seen on Irish shelves. That was a high point.
I came back and did writing (after watching a glorious sun over the sea for a while. Today's total: 1,486 words. The total so far: 10,786. That Other Thing totals in at 311 today and 540 so far.
