I would like to remind myself:

1. Exams take priority over exercise. Yes, you feel like an overfed lazy sloth (except not as pretty), but it's only been a week since your last gym, and you can go after the exams tomorrow.

2. Okay, you're woefully underprepared for this particular set of examinations. What did you expect? But, take note: your showing so far has not been abysmal, and bodes reasonably well for a decent result in the end-of-years, should the worst come to the worst and no exemptions result from this exercise in masochism.

3. When vision becomes blurry, then> it is time to lie down for an hour. You're not quite there yet. Another hour at the coalface!

OTOH, also don't forget that exercise can help you think.

Alas, in this case I'm caught on the horns of the time/effort dilemma. Considering that after every exam, I've fallen into bed for at least two hours at some point during the afternoon, and consequently had less time to prepare for the next exam.

(I had planned on exercise. But it when the way of the best-laid plans of mice and men.)

...I am so. looking. forward. to tomorrow afternoon. :)

Perhaps those simple exercises you can do in your room, like jumping jacks or kata or pushups? I used to do something like that when I wa studying furiously for exams and had no time; a few dozen deep lunges (or alternate-leg high kicks) will get your pulse rate up and you get a little burst of energy.

I, too, am looking forward to tomorrow afternoon, albeit for different reason. ;-) I can hz Friday nao plz?

I'd forgotten just how much Schols are like that; I'm sure I was sleeping sixteen hours a day when I was doing the blasted things.

*still cheerleading with grim determination*

I think it is the fact of so many in so compressed a space of time. And requiring much thinky, which under the beady glares of all those old portraits is somewhat less simple than in is in the gym or the RDS.

(HM Elizabeth I, in particular, has a very disturbing stare: I should not impute malice to portraits, I know, but...)

Also, the Exam Hall is cold. (I suspect it has always been so.) I swear I walk out of there with numb knuckles after every paper.

*onwards*

(I am still clinging desperately to the hope of exemptions. It seems less likely with every passing paper. :P)
