Long day today. Not enough essay done.
But I left the world's most pointlessly boring revision class (I am never, ever, in my life taking one of that man's lectures again. Ever.) early to go climb. Conquered again the wall with overhang I got last time; got up to an overhang on an entirely new route, and succeeded in getting around a sticky corner that has been thwarting me for months. Not all the way to the top, but a decent chunk of the way there. After that I was tired and broke no more new ground, although I did try that route again, twice, and the easiest route. Though by the time I tried climbing the easy route? I was slipping like crazy, and didn't make the top.
All the higher grips appeared to have acquired a slippery accumulation of grease, particularly on the more popular routes. Which was annoying. And I appear to have acquired a set of blisters on my gripping parts.

I have my course choice forms for the course where I have a choice. But this year I'm making my choices based on who's giving the lectures. Not on content. (Well, apart from the Greek course and the one continuous assessment course. But I like the lecturers responsible for them already.) Which means that instead of anything more ancient, I'll be taking a course on the writings of Paul. For whom I have no love, but hey, the lecturer's a really good guy, so things should work out just fine.
Better than taking the interesting-sounding kingship in Israel course. With that man.

Some insane family stuff has happened lately. Is still happening. There may be inarticulate helpless ranting sometime in my near future, but for now I'm trying not to think of it.
