Things to do in the next week:
Review The Iron Jackal.
Translate the rest of Lysias 1.
Write some fiction.
Write some thesis.
Learn kata Empi properly.
Re-learn kata Jion and the last two Heian kata.
Contact US embassy to figure out about the tax code thingy.
I have a date for my black belt grading. Saturday 26 November. Not that I'm worried, or anything - but this is soon, and I am rusty.
Especially since when I came back to Shotokan, I didn't expect to grade again, ever, really. And certainly not this soon.
Oh, well. At least I'll never have to do competition. (If Sensei Funakoshi considered it contrary to the spirit of karate-do, then I figure my opinion is in good company.)
Okay, back to work.
