10. A. Lloyd Moote and Dorothy C. Moote, The Great Plague: The Story of London's Most Deadly Year. Johns Hopkins University Press, Maryland, 2004.

I can't remember where I heard of this book first. It's an interesting and illuminating look at London during the plague year of 1665, in which perhaps one hundred thousand Londoners died.

A great eye for social history and a very well-written, thorough and detailed account.
