3K words is a lot, even at a fifth of what you ultimately need. Yay words! (Or is that wyrds? *g*)

At present, it includes such words as [cite Dunand, Dow?] and [figure out if you can really say this]. The thesis has to be not more than 15K and not less than 10K, so I figure in another three thousand words I'll nearly have my middle chapter written.

After that, I just need a beginning and a theory-heavy ending. And two or three months to fiddle with footnotes. :P
