Unpleasant things that characters were subjected to:
Let's see. For starters I killed off a prince. Elise is experiencing the obilgatory Dungeon Tour. There was Torture. Someone may or may not have died - off-screen, that part's kind of unclear. Then there was an Offer by the Dastardly Duke. There may be more Torture in the near future!
You can tell I'm pretty gleeful about this. Oh yes, I am. The more the characters are hurting, the more plot they're giving me. The more Painful Choices they have to make.
This was the problem in the first part of this. Characters weren't hurting enough, not nearly enough (I think I've figured out how to fix that, but it'll wait on Draft #2, and probably require at least another 10,000 words, for which we are very happy, yes precious). Now characters are In Pain! This is Good!
And enough with the capitals and exclamation marks, you closet sadistic madwoman. Next you'll be cackling evilly Mwahaha- Um, oops?
