Books 2010: 105-109
105. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 8: Destroyer.
Every so often, one needs something light and amusing. With bright pictures. This is such a thing.
106. Ilona Andrews, Magic Bleeds.
Were it not for the fact that the central relationship of this series makes me want to bite things, I'd like it quite a lot. But see above, re: biting things. With extreme prejudice.
107. Rachel Caine, Unknown.
Light, relatively entertaining. Not stunning.
108. Kat Richardson, Labyrinth.
Tautly-plotted, well-characterised urban fantasy.
109. Patricia Briggs, Masques.
Briggs' first published novel, re-issued in a lightly edited edition. Why can't there be more books like this, people, and less urban fantasy? Tell me why.
