Books 2012: 166-167
166. Jack Campbell, The Lost Stars: Tarnished Knight. Ace, 2012. ARC courtesy of Tor.com.
Review will appear at Tor.com when the book is out. It is like his other books. I enjoyed it. Space opera go boom.
167. Adam Christopher, Seven Wonders. Angry Robot, 2012.
Superhero story. Must review for Strange Horizons. The more I think about it, the less I like it. It is glittering and shallow.

Make yourself free of it. :)
(Mostly the problem is it is technically perfectly competent, even good, but has no coherence of theme beyond BOOM BOOM GO BOOM MOAAAAAAAR.)
