If I'm making up words that already exist, what does that mean?

Okay, the writing thing is (finally) doing some moving again. But. I find myself needing to make up names that sound right, and when I do, and I check them against Google, I find that they already exist in some other language. Or possibly do, anyway.

What does razim mean to you?

I googled it and got a couple of sites talking about some kind of Hebrew 'book of secrets'. Yikes. All I need is a foreign-sounding word to use for 'group of bandits' that isn't exactly 'group of bandits.'

Oh well. At least I'm writing. :-)

Go ahead! I believe you'll find the credit for it on my userpic page. I wouldn't worry so much about the word issue though. You do know that Lois Bujold made up the word "vor", don't you? And found out that in Russian, it meant "thief" or somesuch?
