Graduated last night. Six years of my life coming to an end.
So, today I decided to start my livejournal. This may not have been the best of decisions: my final school exams begin in two weeks, and you’d think I'd have enough distractions to keep me going. But I think blogging the LC might actually be a good thing. If I keep a log of my aspirations and achievements for my study period (as well as blowing off steam, hah), I might do better at actually studying.
Today I managed three hours. His. and Gaeilge, mostly: stair na teanga. Not good enough. Tomorrow, it's back in for extra French, and then, on my own: maths, hist., more maths, and Irish. An hour each way, if things go well. That'll be five hours, then. I think I can live with that.
Also, I think I'll log what writing work I'm doing (I have delusions of grandeur, you know: one day I'll actually have a book written, and when that historic day comes I'll probably die of shock). Current Work In Progress is about 40 pages long (small pages). At - oh, call it 250 words per page, pessimistically speaking - that’s 10,000 words. I estimate 110,000 to go. [Damnit].
So, now I think I'll go study some English. If I study Wordsworth, he probably won't come up. At least, I hope he won't.
