I've been bad...
May. 30th, 2005 12:42 am10 days to first exam.
22 days to last exam.
No study today. Bad student. Bad.
But it was fun though. Reread 'Pyramid Scheme', by Dave Freer and Eric Flint (for the first time since last autumn) and, yes, laughed at all the jokes even though I knew they were coming. Great for getting rid of exam tension.
If anybody is reading this lj who hasn't read it yet, go read it. Now. [actually, if anyone is reading this lj at all]
Other things to record: writing. Three new pages. 750 new words. Interesting progress made.

Caba cleared her throat. "I guess I can help with that. Since I have a ship."
I stared at her, startled.
She glared at me. "What?"
"You..." I groped for words. "I'd have thought you'd have wanted as little involvement with me as possible."
She snorted. "I'm already involved. And, hell, you got me out of a jail cell when you could've left me there, so even if it was your fault in the first place, I figure I owe you one."
I just looked at her. She glared back and shrugged, defensively. "And so I'm curious. So what?"

End excerpt.
I'm starting to think this thing needs a title.
