The weather is too hot here...

hawkwing_lb...for me, anyway. I'm figuring it at about 23C. My preferred temperature is somewhere down around seven Celcius. 7-12C is a temperature I can live with. Did I mention I actually like it when it's cold, wet, and below freezing?
Yep, I'm weird. Weird, wired, and wishing I had a fan. Or at least air-conditioning. Or something.
Well, it's been a couple days since I posted. Very Loud Noise from Terrible BUILDING WORK has kept me away from the computer. And I've been resting, and thinking.
I have plotted out a novel, start to finish, all the way from the beginning to the end. First time I ever did that: let's see if it works. Today I began, and I had 1,100 words inside two hours. That made me happy. I'm going to see if I can make that 2,000 before midnight tonight.
I have a title too. Very tentative at the moment, but I'm feeling good about this.
Previous work has been shelved. I need to think more about it, because it's not working as is. Maybe that's due to the absence of an outline.
The New Thing has an outline, though. :-)
