It's a thin line that leads us...
Aug. 23rd, 2005 02:28 amOkay. Bad day yesterday. Only achieved 1318 on Dreamdark, and
nothing on anything else - and that pushing on into the early hours of the
morning.
Yes, I am a talented procrastinator. Why do you ask?
Today:
Progress report for Monday August 22, 2005:
Dreamdark
new words: 1,610
total words: 12,300
Ten percent mark. Keep going. Pant, pant. I am going to climb this mountain, see if I don't.
(Although I have a sneaking suspicion this is more a 220,000 word book than a 120,000 word book)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pilotsspiesthingy
new words: 364
total words: 4,857
Alusind
new: 1 notebook page
total: 8 notebook pages
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I'd better go to bed now, because that's a wordcount total of something like 2,000 words, and I can be Happy with that. Even if it took me something over six hours to achieve, I can be happy with that.
Note to self: start earlier. Procrastinate less. Even if thinking counts as work, you can always think after you get the work done.
