hawkwing_lbOuch. Ouch ouch ouch. Charles Stross, you hurt my head: my brain isn't big enough to assimilate all the new concepts you bring up in the first 16 pages of that book, much less the first section entire.
I'm going away to cradle my inadequacy for a little while now.
In an aside, Waterstones in Drogheda had not one, but two (Two!) copies of Accelerando present on shelves, even if the price was guarranteed to make my teeth hurt. But it is weird, really weird, to have fantasy shelved separately from SF.
Hurts my head more than Accelerando, even.
