So, if I was to pick a short story to work on finishing betwen now and the new year, which should it be? I ask you, because I'm incapable of choosing, myself. *indecisive*

I know which novel I'm working on finishing. It might take me another year or more, but duellist will succumb. (I have too many other ideas I want to work on for it not to.)

(My major fault is being slow.)

But short stories? Please. Help me pick one! Because otherwise I'll just tap about picking at all of them, and getting none much closer to finished.

Would it be an abuse of my shiny new status as an official college newspaper book reviewer type person to ask and annoy publishing company publicity departments for advance review copies, do you think?

I've never done this type of thing before, you see. So advice would be very much welcomed.

Question for the internets: is there an actual name for those tall, almost-but-not-quite floor-to-ceiling windows like the ones in the Gallery of Mirrors at Versailles?

I'm nearly sure there has to be, but I have no clue as to what it is, if there is. Help, please?
