Gods and little fishes, this has been a bad year for me. Illness after injury after virus after infection after depression after bad shit. Annus horribile, or however one conjugates the Latin.

Three things you really don't need to know about me:

1: I like films with explosions. And swordfights. And martial art. And plot that makes some kind of sense, but you can't expect that from Hollywood more than once or twice in a blue moon.

2: The last book I finished was Alison Plowden's Lady Jane Grey, and now my brain is amusing itself by imagining how history might have turned out differently. It is not doing this well, as today = brain takes a holiday! day, but it makes for interesting musings.

3: I have no idea what I should be doing with my life. Somedays, this worries me more than others.
