Jan. 2nd, 2012 03:10 pmI have discovered a hitherto unforeseen problem with making soup so thick that it stands up on its own, and so full of fibre and nutrients that half a bowl provides a whole meal. (It is more vegetable-bean-barley stew than soup.)
It is this: my thick, brown, mushy soup was made in a pot that has an eight-bowl capacity. I am but one single lonesome human, and I'm all out of freezable containers!
